Candice King, a American actress rose to fame in the role of Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries. Although Candice became famous in the field of acting, she initially began her career as a singer. In 2009 she released her debut album "It's Always the Innocent Ones in United States. Twelve of the fourteen songs in the album were written by her. While working on her acting as well, she was also a guest on shows such as How I Met Your Mother. While her acting career had progressed, she didn't achieve a breakthrough before The Vampire Diaries. The Vampire Diaries turned her into quickly a household name. Candice King was lauded her for brilliant acting and outstanding performances. She was in the same role throughout the eight seasons which ran for 171 seasons. The year 2018 was the first time she reprised her character in the spin-off series The Originals and in 2021, Legacies.
